Petoskey Stone Garlic Rasp

Sorry, this item has sold.

I love cooking with garlic! I love a good garlic press but also love the slight differences you get when you use a rasp like this one here. Simply rub the clove of garlic on the rasp and add it to the dish you are cooking.

I also love a good snack! Nothing ever sounds better to me than fresh bread dipped in an olive oil concoction and that is what inspired the shape of this garlic rasp. I wanted there to be a dish enough to put a little olive oil, herbs and vinegar in with the rasped garlic to make an amazing dipping experience.

This piece is made of stoneware clay that is brushed with a white liquid clay, then dried, drawn on and fired to about 1900 degrees. Then covered in a clear glaze, and a black glaze and fired again to about 2200 degrees.

size: about 5" wide.
